    Bats play a key role in maintaining healthy ecosystems. Discover the diversity of bat species found in Lake County, their adaptations, life history and challenges they face. Weather permitting, we will walk the preserve and monitor for resident bats with the same equipment used by our wildlife biologists. Data collected will be shared as part of our overall wildlife monitoring efforts.
