This virtual camp will feature a 1-hour live video session Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with Educator, Mark Hurley. Each session will build on the previous day covering fish adaptations, fish pole maintenance and set up, baiting a hook, lure selection, casting techniques, hook removal, and much more. Campers will be given links to previously recorded short videos of Mark fishing at Independence Grove that can be viewed after the live sessions or on the days in-between.

Each day campers interact virtually with educator(s) for 30-45 minutes on video that may feature a themed-activity and a live animal(s) who is covered with fur, feathers, fins, scales or skin. Additional activities, including digital resources and crafts will be shared with campers’ parent/guardian.
