Individual Admission

Admission includes access to permanent galleries, as well as our special exhibitions. Admission is half-price September 20–October 31 for gallery renovations. About half the galleries will be closed during this time. Some galleries, special exhibitions and the Museum Gift Shop will remain open. Learn more »

Group Admission

Groups of 8 or more require a reservation at least one week in advance to receive a discounted group admission rate. Groups without reservations will be charged the individual admission rate.

Upon display of a SNAP EBT card, an individual or group of up to four persons will receive the Museums for All FREE general admission.

Getting Here

The Dunn Museum is located in the General Offices of the Lake County Forest Preserves at 1899 West Winchester Road between Route 45 and Butterfield Road in Libertyville. The entrance is on the south side of the building. Once you turn south onto Technology Way, follow signs to Dunn Museum. 		 Dunn_055B

 

Gift Shop

The Dunn Museum Gift Shop offers a selection of items inspired by the history and culture of Lake County, including books, posters, notecards, photos, jewelry, apparel and other custom products. Items created by local artisans are also featured in the shop.
