This privacy policy only applies to the District’s website. The District's website may link to other government sites, partnering agencies, and occasionally to private organizations. Statistical Information Collected

When you visit our website, the District collects and stores statistical information about your visit. The information does not identify what an individual accesses on our website, but does enable us to produce summary statistical reports. Illinois law specifically exempts from inspection and copying the names, addresses, or other personal information of participants and registrants in Forest Preserve District programs or events.

We use email addresses to answer the requests we receive. The addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not sold, bartered or shared with the general public or with other outside parties for direct mail or advertising purposes.

Email Communications

The District offers free email newsletters on a variety of topics so you can learn about projects, events, activities and special offers. The District does not sell, rent, barter or share your email information with anyone. You always may opt-out of receiving future email messages and enewsletters from the District at any time by selecting the "unsubscribe" text link provided at the bottom of all email communications. 

Use of Cookies

The District protects the information you supply when visiting our website.
