Celebrate Ethel Untermyer’s legacy and Ryerson Conservation Area’s induction into the Old-Growth Forest Network on Saturday, September 12. The free event features a guided walk, hands-on activities and ways to support conservation.
Ryan Brant has joined the Lake County Forest Preserves as executive director of the Preservation Foundation. He will lead fundraising efforts, including a campaign to build a $20 million endowment for long-term care of the preserves.
