The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
The District has purchased and will be taking delivery of the following vehicles:
Vendor to provide pricing for the purchase, removal and installation of new police vehicle equipment identified below. Marking of the vehicles is NOT needed.
If district staff is transporting vehicles to/from the awarded vendor’s installation facility, the facility must be within a 25-mile radius from the Owner’s Public Safety Facility at 19808 West Grand Avenue, Lake Villa, IL 60046.
Vendors outside of 25 mile radius of District’s Public Safety Facility are required to provide pricing on bid addition for transportation for all (equipment installation & removal of old equipment) work as required within this Contract.
Bids will be evaluated based off price of equipment, installation of new equipment, removal of old equipment from used vehicles, and monetary impact to the District over the lifetime of the vehicle (assuming one trip per year, per vehicle, at rate of $150 per driving hour) for District transportation for any maintenance or repair work to equipment.
Vendors may submit a bid with equipment substitutions. Any piece of equipment being proposed by a vendor must be an equivalent in quality and workmanship. Equipment substitutions will be approved by the District as an equivalent to the equipment specified within Item 1 and Item 2: Equipment for 2023 Ford Utility Police Interceptor SUV Vehicles.
