Tue, Thu, Sat: 10 am–3:30 pm 
Timed Tickets Available: 10–11:30 am, 12–1:30 pm, 2–3:30 pm
Seniors Only: Thursdays 10–11:30 am 
Closed: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays, and Election Day, Thanksgiving Day and Friday, November 27, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Day. Exceptions: open 10 am–3:30 pm, Monday, December 28.
 

Tickets

Purchase timed entry tickets online. Prepaid online limit of 16 people per time slot. Limited walk-in availability. May sign-up for next available time slot at the front desk.

The Museum will close between each time slot for cleaning and disinfecting. View safety protocols here.

Getting Here

The Dunn Museum is located in the General Offices of the Lake County Forest Preserves at 1899 West Winchester Road between Route 45 and Butterfield Road in Libertyville. The entrance is on the south side of the building. Once you turn south onto Technology Way, follow signs to Dunn Museum.

Gift Shop

The Dunn Museum Gift Shop offers a selection of items inspired by the history and culture of Lake County, including books, posters, notecards, photos, jewelry, apparel and other custom products. Items created by local artisans are also featured in the shop.
