Tuesday–Saturday 10 am–5 pm. First and Third Thursday Nights: open until 8 pm on the first and third Thursdays of every month with free admission after 5 pm. Free admission sponsored by USG
Sundays 12–5 pm 
Mondays Closed. Exceptions: open 10 am–5pm on December 30, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, and Veterans Day.
Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Day. 

General Admission

$6 Adults
$3 Seniors ages 62 and better. Free admission during the month of October.
$3 Youth ages 4–17 (limit 10 youth per adult), students ages 18–25 (with proper identification)
FREE Children ages 3 and under
FREE Active U.S. military and up to five family members, May 18–Sep 2, 2019, as part of the Blue Star Museums program (valid military ID required)

Getting Here

The Dunn Museum is located in the General Offices of the Lake County Forest Preserves at 1899 West Winchester Road between Route 45 and Butterfield Road in Libertyville. The entrance is on the south side of the building. Once you turn south onto Technology Way, follow signs to Dunn Museum.

Gift Shop

The Dunn Museum Gift Shop offers a selection of items inspired by the history and culture of Lake County, including books, posters, notecards, photos, jewelry, apparel and other custom products. Items created by local artisans are also featured in the shop.
