Gallery Hours

Tuesday–Saturday * 10 am–5 pm
Sundays 12–5 pm 
Mondays Closed (Exception: The Museum will be open from 10 am–5pm on Memorial Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day and Veterans Day.)

* Open until 8 pm on the first and third Thursdays of every month with free admission after 5 pm. Free admission sponsored by USG.

$6 Adults
$3 Seniors ages 62 and better (During the month of October, seniors' admission is free)
$3 Youth ages 4–17 (limit 10 youth per adult), students ages 18–25 (with proper identification)
Free Children ages 3 and under

Discount Tuesdays

$1.50 Seniors ages 62 and better
$1.50 Youth ages 4–17 (with five to 10 youth per adult), students ages 18–25 (with proper identification)
Free Youth ages 4–17 (limit four youth per adult)

Getting Here

The Dunn Museum is located in the General Offices of the Lake County Forest Preserves at 1899 West Winchester Road between Route 45 and Butterfield Road in Libertyville, Illinois. The entrance is on the south side of the building. Once you turn south onto Technology Way follow signs to the Dunn Museum. 

Gift Shop

The Dunn Museum Gift Shop offers a selection of items inspired by the history and culture of Lake County, including books, posters, notecards, photos, jewelry, apparel and other custom products. Items created by local artisans are also featured in the shop.
