Motus...what? Learn about the new Motus Wildlife Tracking System at Ryerson Conservation Area that detects birds, insects and bats as part of an international research network. Join special guest Anna Buckardt Thomas, Avian Ecologist with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, and Jen Berlinghof, Environmental Educator with the Lake County Forest Preserves, as they answer your migration questions LIVE.

This monthly Q&A series features a panel of educators and special guests excited to share their expertise about Lake County nature and history. Join us live via Zoom or Facebook every third Wednesday of the month for a new topic about the amazing history, creatures and places that make our county special.
