This restored shelter at Nippersink Forest Preserve in Round Lake is surrounded by mature trees that offer lots of shade and is close to the lake for fishing.
The shelter area features an adjacent playfield and sand volleyball court. Picnickers also have access to the preserve's fishing piers and trails, including a woodchip path that leads into the woods.
To access this shelter, follow the main entrance road to the third parking area.
