Help Provide Educational Field Trips for Schools

For many school districts, tight budgets and limited resources make it difficult to fund learning opportunities outside of the classroom. As a result, field trips to local Forest Preserves are often out of reach for students in these communities.

We launched the Gateways Grants program in 1991 to help provide field trip opportunities to communities in need. Since then, more than 80,000 students and teachers have benefited from the Forest Preserves award-winning educational field programs because of the fee waivers and bus stipends that Gateways Grants provide.

Donations fully fund the Gateways Grants program. Your donation will directly benefit Lake County students in need.
