Potawatomi Lifeways

Grades 3–5, Illinois Learning Standards

Utilize artifacts, primary sources, and inquiry skills to discover how colonialism impacted local Native peoples. Students will examine Native daily life in the early 19th century, the 1833 Treaty of Chicago, and the continuance of Native cultures today. 



This program is available year-round, beginning March 26, at the Dunn Museum in Libertyville. This program is also available as an in-school program.


$3/person ($5/person nonresident) 1 hour and 15 minutes, 30 people/group max
