Utilize primary sources, objects and inquiry skills to discover how colonialism impacted local Native peoples. Students will examineNative daily life in the early 19th century, the impact of the 1833 Treaty of Chicago and the continuance of Native cultures today. 


This program is available year-round at the Dunn Museum in Libertyville. This program is also available as an in-school program.


$2/person ($4/person nonresident) 1 hour, 30 people/group max
