Early Settlers of Lake County

How do we know what happened in the past? Become a historian and investigate objects, photos, and primary sources to determine who the first settlers in Lake County were, what their daily lives were like, and how they adapted the land around them.

This program is offered throughout the school year. Our staff and programs are packed and ready to travel to your school. This program is also available as a field trip at the Dunn Museum.
