This virtual camp will feature a 1-hour live video session Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with Educator, Mark Hurley. Each session will build on the previous day covering fish adaptations, fish pole maintenance and set up, baiting a hook, lure selection, casting techniques, hook removal, and much more. Campers will be given links to previously recorded short videos of Mark fishing at Independence Grove that can be viewed after the live sessions or on the days in-between.

Join us for a virtual adventure as we wander into the woods and prairie. Learn to sweep net for insects in the prairie and see what we find. Head to the woods to peek under logs and see what lives there. Maybe we'll build a fort or try another woodland activity.
