Voyageur Paddle
Paddle our 34-foot canoe across the lake and back in time. Go back to early Lake County as 18th-century French voyageurs and discover why voyageurs traveled to Illinois in the 1740s and learn their effect on natural and cultural development.

Adults, families with children ages 4 and up.

Meet at the Van Patten Sterling Lake South parking lot. Life jackets must be worn properly. This program requires a signed waiver. You will be notified an hour prior if the program is canceled due to unsafe weather conditions.
