In this virtual camp, young paleontologists uncover the past from the Paleozoic era to the Ice Age. Engage with a museum educator each day to learn about fossils, dinosaurs, and megafauna through interactive instruction and discussion. Additional independent resources such as videos, at-home crafts like creating a dinosaur, and activities like cookie excavation will be sent to each camper.
This camp is for children ages 8-10 by the first day of camp.
We are unable to make age exceptions because activities are geared to cognitive, emotional and physical abilities for this camp's specific age range.
Email AskAnEducator@LCFPD.org with questions or concerns the day of a program.
