Summer Camp: Animal Attire

Campers will take an in-depth look at the wonders of the plant world through a daily 1-hour virtual live interactive exploration of trees, flowers, grasses, aquatic plants, and “invaders” (non-native plants). Cost includes a materials kit and detailed itinerary with Zoom link and supplemental activities. Adult assistance may be needed.

This camp is for children ages 6-7 by the first day of camp.

We are unable to make age exceptions because activities are geared to cognitive, emotional and physical abilities for this camp's specific age range.

Registrants can pick up their camp kit from the General Offices front desk the week prior to and during the camp week.

Screenshots, recordings, and other images may be periodically taken of participants in Forest Preserve District programs and activities. The District occasionally takes photographs or video of participants for promoting/advertising our programs, services, events, activities, and facilities in our brochures, website or agency social media, and other promotional avenues. By registering for, participating in or attending District programs, events, or other activities, the participant (or parent/guardian of a minor participant) irrevocably agrees to the use and distribution by the District of his or her image (or of his minor child/ward) in photographs, video recordings, and any other electronic reproductions of such programs, events and activities for any purpose without inspection or approval and without compensation, rights to royalties or any other consideration now and in the future.
