Details

Summer Camp: Animal Attire
Discover how the first inhabitants of Lake County survived and thrived. Then, dive deeper into what daily life was like for the Potawatomi during the 18th and 19th centuries. Throughout the week, campers will explore artifacts, and learn virtually about food, clothing and shelter through engaging instruction with a Museum educator. Additional resources for crafts, games, and activities will be sent home.

This camp is for children ages 8-10 by the first day of camp.

We are unable to make age exceptions because activities are geared to cognitive, emotional and physical abilities for this camp's specific age range.

Registrants can pick up their camp kit from the General Offices front desk starting June 22 and through the week of camp.

Email AskAnEducator@LCFPD.org with questions or concerns the day of a program.
