This presentation offers an opportunity to follow the judging experience with curated histories, recipes and pictures of displays presented at the Illinois State Fair. Contestants submit their best scratch family heirloom recipe suitable for a family or community dinner, and bring to the fair a prepared dish along with a history of who passed the recipe down. Hear unique and wonderful stories from speaker Cathy Lambrecht’s judging experience.

Enjoy free programs every first and third Thursday evening. Engage in hands-on programs, and expand your curiosity.
