Symbols of Illinois: Bluegill

Celebrate the Illinois Bicentennial (1818–2018) by learning about state symbols. Each program in this 10-part series teaches about the origin and natural history of the state symbols, and may also include a brief walk.

This program focuses on our state's fish, the bluegill.

$2 residents, $4 nonresidents.

Drop-in program, no registration required.

Adult supervision required.

Park in lot F or G and walk toward the marina. Meet at the large umbrella.
