Summer Camp: Spiders, Slugs and Really Cool Bugs

Campers will search prairies, forests and wetlands in search of invertebrates (animals without backbones). They will gain a better understanding of the invertebrates of Lake County and what makes them so special.

This camp is for children ages 8–9 by the first day of camp.

We are unable to make age exceptions because activities are geared to cognitive, emotional and physical abilities for this camp's specific age range.

Park in the Welcome Center lot and walk to the Classroom Cabins.

Please download, complete and turn in all Summer Camp Registration forms soon after registration. Forms must be received at least one week prior to the start of your camp session. You can find all camp forms here https://www.lcfpd.org/education/camps/forms-guidelines/
