Camp: Preserve Explorers
Campers are introduced to a range of opportunities in the Forest Preserves and will develop life skills through daily team-building activities. They'll assist with land stewardship, try paddle boarding, explore waterways and observe wildlife, meet Ranger Police, golf, kayak, bike, find geocaches, swim and fish.
This camp is for children ages 12-14 by the first day of camp. Choose only one Preserve Explorers session per child please.
We are unable to make age exceptions because activities are geared to cognitive, emotional and physical abilities of that camp's specific age range.
Meet outside the Visitors Center unless stated otherwise on the camp's schedule.
Please download, complete and turn in all Summer Camp Registration forms by June 1 or at least one week prior to the start of your camp session.
