9 AM - 12 PM

Ages 8–9.

Registration is closed.

Details

Young paleontologists uncover the past from the Paleozoic Era to the Ice Age, discovering the diversity of plants and animals from tiny trilobites to mega mastodons. As a junior geologist, your child will explore the county's dynamic shift from shallow seas to mile high glaciers. Finally, taking on the role of archaeologist, campers will dig into prehistoric cultures to learn what life was like for the first people in Lake County.

This camp is for children ages 8–9 by the first day of camp.

The camp will take place at Nippersink Shelter D.

Campers will be outdoors each day, so be sure they have on sunscreen and have a water bottle. Please send a snack with your child as there will be a time for snack each morning.

Please download, complete and turn in all Summer Camp Registration forms soon after registration. Forms must be received at least one week prior to the start of your camp session. You can find all camp forms here https://www.lcfpd.org/education/camps/forms-guidelines/
