Summer Camp: Early Settlers

Return to the 1830s and experience life as an early settler to Lake County. Through crafts, activities and exploration learn how people made the big move west, started farms, set up homes, and lived every day.

This camp is for children ages 7-9 by the first day of camp. For more details on daily activities, please read the itinerary. Camp will meet at the Education Cabins at Ryerson Woods.

Campers will be outdoors each day, so be sure that they have on sunscreen and that they have a waterbottle. Please send a snack and a lunch with your child as there will be a time for snack and lunch each day.

Please download, complete and turn in all Summer Camp Registration forms soon after registration. Forms must be received at least one week prior to the start of your camp session. You can find all camp forms here https://www.lcfpd.org/education/camps/forms-guidelines/
