Object Talks: The American Mastodon

Take a closer look at a fossilized mastodon leg bone and tooth to learn more about this massive Ice Age mammal and hear the fascinating story of how it was found.

Uncover stories of the rich artifacts at the Dunn Museum with the series Object Talks. Engage with one object at a time to ask questions, learn about its historical sigificance, and dig deeper into the past.

Includes Museum admission. The program will take place in the North Shore Gas Education Classroom and museum galleries. For more information contact the Museum at 847-968-3400.
