Are you interested in learning more about our local birds but don’t know where to start? Join us for this introductory class and learn the basics of birdwatching. We’ll cover binocular use, bird identification and the best places to watch birds in Lake County.
This class is intended for the beginning bird watcher. Bring binoculars if you have them, however, we will have a supply of binoculars available to borrow.
A short indoor presentation will be followed by a bird walk at Ryerson Woods.
Meet at the Welcome Center.
Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes that can get wet and muddy.
