How did the Potawatomi care for their children in the 19th century? Are cradleboards still used today? Find out the answers to these questions and more as we take a closer look at a cradleboard from our collections and learn about Potawatomi childcare and family life.

Uncover the stories of the rich artifacts at the Dunn Museum with the series History Hacked. Engage with one object at a time to ask questions, learn the historical sigificance, and dig deeper into the past.
