History Cafe
Discuss life on the home front during the American Civil War by learning about Susie Smith Minto. Minto wrote letters to many of the men from Lake County fighting in the war. Her letters and diaries are now on display as part of our Minto Collection.

Take a tea time break to enjoy the History Cafe at the Dunn Museum. The History Cafe is a series that will focus on discussing local history and the relevancy of history today. Different topics will be investigated through discussion, looking at primary sources and objects, and presentations.

 

Includes Museum admission. This program will take place in the Education Classroom in the Bess Bower Dunn Museum of Lake County. For more information contact 847-968-3400.
