Greenbelt Cultural Center Concert: John Primer

We’ve added a new concert location this summer. This live outdoor musical performance begins at 7:30 pm in the outdoor amphitheater at the Greenbelt Cultural Center in North Chicago.

 “The Real Deal” Chicago blues man brings to the stage his signature electric slide guitar, soulful R&B vocals and the influence of blues legends he has played with, including Muddy Waters, Junior Wells, Willie Dixon, and Magic Slim. In June, he performs at the Chicago Blues Festival and is headlining at Buddy Guy’s Legends—then he comes to Lake County, IL. How lucky can we get?

Concert is held in the outdoor amphitheater at the Greenbelt Cultural Center located within Greenbelt Forest Preserve. Bring chairs and blankets. Arrive early as parking is limited; cars are turned away when parking is full. To help offset our cost to host this quality concert, there is an entrance fee of $10. All entrance fees are nonrefundable. No rain date. Food and soft drinks available for purchase from Delights by Angela.

Vehicle entrance fee (including drop-offs): $10 after 5pm
