Family Celebration Day

Experience the exhibit, A Celebration of Souls, through crafts, activities, and demonstrations and learn more about the traditions of Dia de Los Muertos in Mexico.

Special Activites on that day include: 

10:00-1:00 Connecting with La Monarca

Join our friends at Faith in Place as we learn about the legend of the Parakata. Paint your very        own monarch butterfly and learn new ways on how to be a good neighbor to this declining population.

10:00-11:00 Mariachi Estrellas Performance from Andrew Cooke Magnet School

10:30-11:00 Tour the Exhibit, A Celebration of Souls

11:30-12:30- Traditional Dance performance by Aztec Dance Chicago
