These live outdoor musical performances begin at 7:30 pm every Tuesday evening, from June 18–August 6, at Independence Grove in Libertyville.
De Hurricane Reggae Band holds the Chicago Music Award for Best Reggae Entertainer in 2018. Get ready to experience a true Caribbean vibe, a total party package with reggae, soca, calypso, a little jazz and blues, and a taste of real island culture and sound from the Hurricane.
Concerts are held at the preserve's outdoor amphitheater, Millennia Plaza, overlooking a 115-acre lake. Bring chairs and blankets. Arrive early to secure your spot; cars are turned away when parking is full. There is an entrance fee of $10 after 5 pm on event nights. No rain dates. Café open until 9 pm (drop-offs included).
