Fish to your heart’s content in the South Bay from 6:30am-noon. For all ages. Catch and keep, or turn your carp in to us. No limit. Fishing from shoreline only. Boat rental not available during the event. State fishing license regulations apply. Valid Illinois fishing license required for ages 16 and up.

A valid Illinois fishing license is required for ages 16 and older. Purchase at the marina at Independence Grove Forest Preserve, many sporting goods stores, or from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
