The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Fish to your heart’s content in the South Bay from 6:30am-noon. Catch and keep, or turn your carp in to us. No limit. Fishing from shoreline only. Boat rental not available during the event. State fishing license regulations apply.
Cash prizes awarded for largest total carp caught (by weight), and largest single carp caught (by weight). Check in at the marina. For complete details, call 847-968-3499.
A valid Illinois fishing license is required for ages 16 and older. Purchase at the marina at Independence Grove Forest Preserve, many sporting goods stores, or from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
