The Dunn Museum collections include works from some of Lake County’s notable visual artists. This book introduces a selection of artworks from artists who were active in the first half of the 20th century: Georgia Douglas Clarke, Charles S. Champe, Charles O. Longabaugh, Mary Louise Spoor Brand, Reima V. Ratti, Carl Frederic Austen, Lily Tolpo and Carl Tolpo. These artworks are a glimpse into the Museum’s collections and reveal one of the rich layers of Lake County history.
Operated by Lake County Forest Preserves and located in Libertyville, Illinois, the Dunn Museum is named for Bess Bower Dunn, Lake County’s first official historian.
