The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
The District has a two-tier seed provenance system for purchase consideration of native plant material. First-Tier priority is given to species with origins (provenance) from locations within the attached range map. Any seed that does not originate from the defined First-Tier Zone may be considered for purchase at the District’s discretion as long as vendor provides the seed’s geographic location (County & State) and mile distance from Lake County in the “Notes” column found in the contract’s Schedule of Prices.
Vendors shall deliver species in individually marked packages for each project site/quantity, i.e. the winning bidder for Agropyron trachycaulum shall supply 3 packages of seed: one 3.00 lb. package, one 0.20 lb. package, and one 0.25 lb. package. Each package shall be delivered with the appropriate label indicating the project site. Deliveries of packages without labels will be rejected by Owner. Vendors shall not supply one package of the total quantity. Vendor’s packaging needs to supply the products as indicated shall be incorporated into the bid price.
Owner reserves the right to alter quantities to conform to budgetary constraints. Species will be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder by available stock. Bidder shall deliver the Products to Owner not later than DECEMBER 4, 2020.
