The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
The District invites bids for four projects to control invasive herbaceous and woody plants. Project 1 is an hourly-based contract at Cuba Marsh Forest Preserve; Project 2 is an hourly-based contract at Middlefork Savanna Forest Preserve. Project 3 is an hourly based contract for control of invasive Cattails and purple loosestrife (Typha spp and Lythrum salicaria) at Grant Woods Forest Preserve. Project 4 is also at Grant Woods Forest Preserve and is an acreage unit cost based project for the control of Cattails and purple loosestrife. Bidders can bid on one, two, three or all four projects. Details of each Project are described under Attachment B, Section 2 (Title, Description, Coordination, Goals, and Scope) of the Bid Package.
