NATIVE SEED PURCHASE (FURNISH, MIX, DELIVER) FOR KETTLE GROVE FOREST PRESERVE

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

This project involves three principal activities:

1.   Supply, furnish, or acquire all six species of native graminoids in the quantities indicated.

2.   Weigh, mix, and package seed into one seed mix.  All species shall be represented in each package in quantities with respect to their weighted proportion of the overall mix.  Copies of seed tests must be supplied to the District for all lots of all species.  A final bulk weight shall also be supplied to the District prior to delivery.

3.   Arrange for shipment or delivery of mixed seed to the Conserv FS plant in Kansasville, Wisconsin.

The Products shall be delivered to Conserv FS at the following address no later than February 8, 2019:

SCHEDULE OF SEED DELIVERY:

          Start Date:     Approximately January 1, 2019

Completion Date:     February 8, 2019

Vendor shall set up delivery date and time with Conserv FS.  Vendor shall coordinate with Conserv FS to package and ship seed in a manner that is acceptable to Conserv FS (bag size, pallets, etc.).

Delivery of final seed mix shall arrive at the Conserv FS plant no later than February 8, 2019.

All packaging materials must be clearly labeled:   “Lake County Forest Preserves, Kettle Grove Forest Preserve.”
