Details

This series guides adults in a unique outdoor experience with their young ones. Each session highlights a different way animals move. Fly, crawl, hop, swim and slither together through hands-on nature activities, exploration, stories, crafts and interaction with live animals.

This program is for children ages 4-6 by the first day of the program with an adult.

We are unable to make age exceptions because activities are geared to cognitive, emotional and physical abilities for this program's specific age range.

By registering for the entire series, the child and one adult is registered for all four sessions:

August 2: Who's that FLYING around? - Ryerson Woods

August 4: HOPPERS and JUMPERS - Ryerson Woods

August 9: What's that SWIMMING? - Wright Woods

August 11: CRAWLERS, SLITHERERS and WALKERS - Ryerson Woods

Please register each child separately. Adult supervision required. Cost is per child with one free adult. Limit two children per adult.

Sessions are on Tuesdays and Thursdays: August 2, 4, 9 and 11 from 10 am-12 pm.

Aug 2, 4, 11 Meet in the large program room in the Welcome Center.

Aug 9 Meet at the trailhead kiosk, Wright Woods.
