Ticket Required.
Discover what lives in the water and why it’s important. Break into your family groups and allow your children to discover what they can find living in the muck, mud, and water of the lake. All pond scooping materials will be provided along with a demonstration. We'll gather to learn if the critters you caught are an important part of the lake. Children are encouraged to draw or write a story of their discoveries.
Bring a blanket for sitting.

No walk-ins will be allowed. Space is limited, please register early.
Park in IG Northbay Pavilion parking lot. Follow signs near shelter.
Wear shoes that can get wet and muddy and will stay on feet.

By registering for an in-person program you acknowledge that you have read the following and agree to:
1. Masks are optional for fully vaccinated* program participants.
Masks are required for non-vaccinated program participants when indoors or if you are outdoors and unable to maintain a 6 foot social distance.
Note: *Fully vaccinated* means any individual 14 days after full course of FDA approved COVID-19 vaccination
2. Observe social distancing of at least 6 feet whenever possible.
3. Check that you and members of your group are not experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19 prior to arriving at a program. If you need to cancel, email AskAnEducator@LCFPD.org.
4. Respect the directions of staff during the program. We are here to help and are looking out for everyone’s health and safety. Please practice kindness towards other participants and staff.
