Let's Go Outside-Creating Habitat

Ticket Required.
Join us and learn what makes a habitat. We will break into your family groups to allow your children to create their own habitat, using natural and other items that will be provided. They can be as creative as their imaginations allow. We will discuss what was fun or challenging.

Programs are priced per family. A family unit is up to 2 adults and 3 children.

Meet in back of the Greenbelt Cultural Center

By registering for an in-person program you acknowledge that you have read the following and agree to:
  1. If you are not fully vaccinated, wear a mask indoors and outdoors, where social distancing isn't possible, including children 2 and over.
    *Fully vaccinated* means any individual 14 days after full course of FDA approved COVID-19 vaccination
  2. Observe social distancing of at least 6 feet whenever possible. 
  3. Check that you and members of your group are not experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19 prior to arriving at a program. If you need to cancel, email AskAnEducator@LCFPD.org.
  4. Respect the directions of staff during the program. We are here to help and are looking out for everyone’s health and safety. Please practice kindness towards other participants and staff.

The District occasionally takes photographs or video of participants for promoting/advertising our programs, services, events, activities, and facilities in our brochures, website or agency social media, and other promotional avenues. By registering for, participating in or attending District programs, events, or other activities, the participant (or parent/guardian of a minor participant) irrevocably agrees to the use and distribution by the District of his or her image (or of his minor child/ward) in photographs, video recordings, and any other electronic reproductions of such programs, events and activities for any purpose without inspection or approval and without compensation, rights to royalties or any other consideration now and in the future.
