Details

Take on the role of a historian, like the Dunn Museum's namesake Bess Bower Dunn! Tour historic sites and examine historical documents to learn more about the unique stories of Lake County's past and how we study and preserve them.

This program is for children ages 8-12 by the first day of the program.

We are unable to make age exceptions because activities are geared to cognitive, emotional and physical abilities for this program's specific age range.

This program will focus on the history of Adlai E. Stevenson II and his home in Mettawa.

Cost includes one free adult per child. Register both child and adult.

Please bring a waterbottle and sunscreen as we'll spend part of our time outside walking the site.
