Fort Sheridan is a fascinating place full of natural and cultural history. Your child will meet once per week for four weeks, engaging in a different focus each week that includes hands-on activities, hikes and more!

This program is for children ages 9-12 by the first day of the program.

We are unable to make age exceptions because activities are geared to cognitive, emotional and physical abilities for this program's specific age range.

By registering for the entire series, your child is registered for all four sessions:

July 21: Along the Lakeshore

July 28: Ravine Revelations

August 4: Red-tailed Hawk Squawk

August 11: Biking through Human History

Sessions are on Thursdays-- July 21, 28 and August 4, 11. Drop off and Pick up is at the trailhead off the Gilgare Road parking lot.

Please bring completed forms at Drop-off.
