Come out to Dugdale Lake at Greenbelt Forest Preserve to do some pond scooping. We'll see what kinds of animals we discover. Who begins their life in the water, and lives there year-round? Why is it important to take care of water?

Allow children to scoop and play in the water, searching for aquatic critters that perhaps they and you have never seen before.

FREE. Adult supervision required.

A Lake County Nature Network event.

Dugdale Lake is located off Dugdale Road, one block east of the Greenbelt Cultural Center. Park in Dugdale parking lot and follow signs to the lake.

Wear water shoes or shoes that will stay on your feet that can get wet and muddy.

Email AskAnEducator@LCFPD.org with questions or to inquire about accommodations.
