Who We Are

Birdwatching Hot spots

Bird

Have you ever wondered what type of bird lives in your backyard or what birds travel through your local forest preserve? Each spring, thousands of birds utilize Lake County Forest Preserves to feed, rest and nest. Join us as we visit four birding hotspots looking for water fowl, marsh birds and other migratory species. Spotting scopes and binoculars will be available for public use.
