The postcards are cataloged under major and minor subject headings. There are approximately 175 major headings sub-divided into more than 2100 minor categories. For example, the major heading of ADVERTISING has more than 60 minor categories such as banks, eyewear, furniture, music and toys.
To search, enter a term in the box below. Note that if you're not sure of the exact term, you may enter part of a term. For example, entering "AD" will find both "ADVERTISING" and "RAILROAD." To browse all subject headings, click on 'Go' without entering a search term.
