Paddle with a Naturalist

A twist on the popular Walk with a Naturalist program in honor of the rich water resources within Lake County. Join an Environmental Educator on a two-hour paddle with whatever we see in nature as a guide to the conversation. Previous paddling experience required.

Paddling experience means that you are able to properly maneuver a boat using forward, reverse, sweep, draw and push away strokes and/or have received formal instruction in paddling. Program leaders have the discretion to dismiss inexperienced paddlers from the program if they pose a safety risk.

Includes equipment rental. Refer to the welcome letter on what to wear/bring.

Previous flatwater paddling experience highly recommended. Bring a headlamp.

Water Connects Lake County Join us this year as we celebrate water with educational and recreational programs on the theme.
