REI Outdoor School: Introduction to Snowshoeing

The professional instructors at the REI Outdoor School will teach you appropriate technique of snowshoeing, proper use of equipment and how to make every trip a success. Dress in synthetic clothing with base layers. Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. Hat, gloves and warm socks encouraged. Snowshoeing equipment will be provided for class use. Meet at Brushwood. Minimum 4" of snow is required for snowshoeing.

This Friends of Ryerson Woods (FRW) program is presented in partnership with REI.
