Halloween Hikes - 7 pm - 2009

This guided candlelight trail hike stops several times to watch costumed performances in the woods. Finish off at a cozy cabin fireplace with cider and a fresh doughnut. This program isn’t scary, so even your preschoolers will have fun. Hour long hikes begin every 30 min. between 6-8 pm.

Please dress for the weather, and costumes are encouraged! Come prepared to hike approximately one mile. Flashlights are discouraged. The path is lit by luminaria and your group is led by a guide.

Note: not able to accommodate large groups.

Location Specific Info:

The entrance to Ryerson Woods is located on Riverwoods Road, south of Route 22 (Half Day Road) and north of Deerfield Road, in Riverwoods. Check in at the Welcome Center.

Cost:

$7.00 per adult $7.00 per child	(Lake County Residents)

$9.00 per adult $9.00 per child	(Non-Residents)

Please note that children 3 or younger may attend for free.
