How to Pay Parking Tickets and Other Ordinance Violations

We've made it quick and easy for you to pay citations online. Submit the form below within 30 days of receiving a citation from a Lake County Forest Preserve Ranger Police Officer, and we'll take care of the rest.

60 Days to Pay

  • To avoid a late fee, make your payment within 30 days of your citation date using the form below. You can also call or visit our Operations and Public Safety Facility in Lake Villa. See your citation for details.

  • NOTE: If you are making a payment for a citation written more than 30 days ago, please add the required $10 late fee to your payment. If you fail to include the $10 late fee, your citation will NOT be considered paid in full and an outstanding balance will remain.

  • If you are having trouble making a payment, please check that your browser pop-up blocker is set to allow www.LCFPD.org

  • If we haven't received your payment within 60 days of your citation date, your account will be charged a $20 administrative fee and sent to collections. You will need to contact the collection agency directly to reconcile your payment.

  • For questions, or to make other payment arrangements, call our Ranger Police Department, 847-968-3404, 6:30 am–3 pm, weekdays. In order to make a payment in person please visit the Operations and Public Safety Facility at 19808 West Grand Avenue in Lake Villa.

NOTE: Ordinance Violation Citations issued by our Ranger Police Officers begin with the letter "N." Only use this form to pay citations that begin with the letter "N." If your citation contains only numbers, please follow instructions on the back of your citation.
