Preservation Foundation of the Lake
County Preserves

The Preservation Foundation of the Lake County Forest Preserves, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, was founded in 2007 to provide meaningful ways for the community to partner in the mission of the Lake County Forest Preserves.

WAYS TO GIVE

There are many ways for you to support the Preservation Foundation of the Lake County Forest Preserves– through a gift to the Annual Fund, sponsorship of an exhibition or event, a planned gift, or through a gift made in tribute to a friend, family member or in honor of a special occasion.

THE ANNUAL FUND

When you give to the annual fund, your gift will help us with these and other projects and programs that otherwise could not be done or would take many years to accomplish:

preserve open space through acquisition of new lands
restore existing lands
expand the 140 mile trail system
provide opportunities for students from low income communities so they can access quality environmental and cultural education.

You can make your donation to the Preservation Foundation go even further if your employer or your spouse's employer offers a matching gift program. Many companies will double or triple their employees' charitable contributions. Contact your human resources department to see if your employer has a matching gift policy.

CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS

Philanthropic gifts and sponsorships through corporate partnerships provide the Forest Preserves with essential support while demonstrating commitment to our environmental and cultural mission. TRUSTS, BEQUESTS AND REAL ESTATE GIFTS

Tribute and Memorial Gifts

Help preserve the habitats and heritage of Lake County through your gift in honor or memory of a loved one or to mark a special occasion. Let us plant a tree or select a bench and let us place it in a special Forest Preserve.
