Essential Eligibility Criteria

Camp Orientation for Parents

After registration, before camps begin, parents are invited to a summer camp orientation on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 7 pm at the Independence Grove Visitors Center.

Financial Assistance

Partial scholarships are available in the case of financial hardship. Complete a short application for financial assistance and mail to:

Cancellation & Transfer Fees

Refunds are given upon request if received one week before the program, less a $10 service fee per child per session. In the rare instance that we must cancel a class, we issue credit toward another program or provide a refund. In the case of a transfer from one camp session to another, there is a $10 service fee per child per session.

Satisfaction Guaranteed

If you are unhappy with the quality of any program, let us know and we’ll apply credit toward another program or issue a refund.

Forms and Paperwork

Download and return camp paperwork by mail before June 1 or upon registration. Packet contains an Emergency Contact Form, Health Form and a Waiver & Release. Original signatures are required, faxed forms cannot be accepted.

Photographs and videos are periodically taken of people participating in Forest Preserve District programs and activities. All persons registering for Forest Preserve District programs/activities or using Forest Preserve property thereby agree that any photograph or videotape taken by the Forest Preserve District may be used by the District for promotional purposes including its website, promotional videotapes, brochures, fliers and other publications without additional, prior notice or permission and without compensation to the participant.
